You are going to make a fork, but the tarball you provided comes from the
decommissioned package, and it has a different license. Could you prepare a
tarball with this issue fixed (by the way,
please make sure that all copyrightable files in your tarball
have [//savannah.gnu.org/maintenance/ValidNotices/ valid copyright and license
notices].)
