Hi!

I'm currently working on a free software project, and I have some questions...

First, I would want to post it on savannah, but... do I have to have a tarball
before I do that? I mean, it is still on early development, but I have lots of
theoretical work done, which I could post on the project website before there
is something really done. It would be nice to have a host page already.

Second... I have to use GPL-compatible free software licences, right? The
projet is separated by several modules, with no external dependencies at all,
and some of them I will copyright under GPL, but... I'm not sure in which kind
of licence the "main" module would fit on, because I want a LGPL-like thing,
with one restriction: no derivatives. Is there a licence like that already?
And, if no, if I have to write down my own - or just write a restriction to
LGPL -, would it still have a chance to be approved?

Thank you.
