Hi all,
I'm submitting my project purposal for my University third year project this
week, I want to contribute towards liquidsoap with the time I'll be given so
thinking of getting a GUI for stream management done.
The idea has been discussed by David and others before, provide a GUI to
build liquidsoap streams, for a prototype I will follow David's advice and
use dia to start basic streams off. Then move into some work helping
developing any extra functionality needed by the daemon and finally it's own
custom GUI (ie not with dia).
Now the things I need from you guys is a brief use case on what you would
use from it, what really cool features you'd find useful (think Moon!) and
to list me any similar existing applications that are available.
btw 0.01 release of soapbox is indeed delayed but I'll get it out shortly,
just had two long broadcasts under my belt and the radio station is winding
down for the summer.
