Hmmm... By default, the encoder is restarted every 3600 seconds (one hour). As it seems, this was not sucessful here. You should turn on the restart_on_crash option and you should be fine. In the mean time, I will investigate a bit more. The problem is that it is not easy to detect expected exits of the encoder with crashes and I would like thar restart_on_crash defaults to false if possible so that we catch real failures in the encoder..
