Creation of var/log/liquidsoap at install -----------------------------------------
Key: LS-543 URL: http://dev.sourcefabric.org/browse/LS-543 Project: Liquidsoap Issue Type: Bug Reporter: Samuel Mimram >From the ML: > Hi all ! > > Just after the "make install", I got a: > > FATAL ERROR: Log directory "/usr/local/var/log/liquidsoap" does not > exist. > > Is this expected to be created manually ? Maybe yes, as the user that will run liquidsoap, ( and should own the logdir).... We separated the creation of those directories because Debian packages want to do it by themselves. I believe it used to be in the make target "system-install", but (although there is still a trace of it) it has disappeared for almost 5 years. Should we fix it? It's not so most inconvenient problem and personally I don't feel like playing with this. Romain is the most qualified, he'll be able to do something which at least doesn't break his packages, so I'll leave it up to him. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://dev.sourcefabric.org/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable.
