Hi Peter, Thanks for your feedback. Concerning stability, we'll do our best: this won't happen soon, but when it happens it'll start as a branch, and before we merge we'll inform you guys on how to avoid the merge or update your scripts accordingly.
For the rest, I haven't much to add, except that there'll always be something simpler than JSON-RPC. My guess is that the default server interface will use a syntax close to liquidsoap scripts, for example <id>.queue won't reply "1 2 3 4" but [1,2,3,4].
