David Baelde commented on LS-516: --------------------------------- It would be possible to give information about the latest playlist resolution: the playlist would give the request ID, from which you can get a trace of what happened -- it won't be as simple as an HTTP code, but that's not possible since the request may not be HTTP. However, this might not be so convenient, because even if the latest playlist resolution failed, the playlist source keeps the contents of the previous playlist. This is usually good because you don't want to empty a playlist if the 1pm reload fails (remote server temporarily down). Also I don't see what's insufficient with the current "uri" command. > URL handling improvements > ------------------------- > > Key: LS-516 > URL: http://dev.sourcefabric.org/browse/LS-516 > Project: Liquidsoap > Issue Type: New Feature > Reporter: Samuel Mimram > Assignee: David Baelde > Priority: Major > > From the ML: > > 2) checking source URL status > For knowing if it's connected or not we have an internal flag, and I > could easily make it available as a command.
