Just checked the issue. For my record, the demo was from my
~/savonet/liquidsoap/demo, and the weird modification is:
liquidsoap 'src =
smooth_add(special=delay(3.,sine(duration=4.)),normal=sine(440.)) ;
output.pulseaudio(visu.volume(src))'
