Ok, thanks.
Most likely, alsa support for liquidsoap doesn't work and this makes the
whole liquidsoap crashes.
There was a recent report in ticket #191 about issues related to
portaudio's alsa emulation in ubuntu. Could you check if it is your case
too ? You can for instance try to move ~/.pulse to /tmp temporary, and
restart the graphical environment..
