Comment(by toots):

 Hi !

 I think I know where the exception is raised. However, I am not sure yet
 about what to do with it.

 Apparentely the issue comes from the {{{create_socket}}} function in
 ocaml-cry. However, it should mean that liquidsoap was unable to open a
 new socket, which is bad enough to not catch the exception.

 Could you see using for instance, {{{lsof | grep liquidsoa}}} (not the
 lapt "p", or, better, use PID) if there are no file descriptor leak when
 running liquidsoap ?

 File descriptor, I mean a lot of lines like this:
 {{{
 liquidsoa  5542      toots   29u     IPv4             280167       0t0
 TCP leonard.local:42020->www.rastageeks.org:8000 (ESTABLISHED)
 }}}
