Good idea. Concerning the implementation, I'd be tempted to simplify
playlist() and provide in the language what's needed to obtain desired
features. I think the reload option in playlist can be simplified to only
deal with the "round" mode, because this one can't be done externally. For
time-based reloading, one can use add_timeout(): the result is slightly
different but only better (without add_timeout, the playlist only reloads
when it's played). Finally we could add reloading upon file change by
binding inotify to the script language, I'm sure it'll find other
applications too.
