 I didn't run any test, but I think things should go as follows. Our
 input.http pulls data from HTTP as fast as possible, this is how it is
 designed, it works fine with icecast but sucks with a file.

 The clocks have nothing to do with it, they only control how fast data is
 taken off the buffer. With your example, output.ao should pull data
 according to wallclock time, hence empty input.http's buffer at this rate.

 Perhaps we could modify input.http so that it doesn't fill its buffer that
 fast. I'm not sure how important this is; do we really want to support
 files over input.http?
