One feature we lost in the migration towards ocaml-mm is endianess
detection.. It would be nice to put it back !

Also, it seems that code was duplicated. First, the function
{{{caml_float_pcm_from_s16le}}} converts s16le strings to float array, but
it is also done in {{{caml_float_pcm_convert_s16le_native}}} later, with a
 possible resample ratio..

It would be nice to factorize the two functions and also to detect
endianess and use the macros defined for converting the samples
 accordingly..
