#393: Gavl video converter doesn't blank

 We currently have two video converters, performing YUV to RGB and
 proportional scaling. When scaling, the native converter sets to 0 the
 pixels outside of the target rectangle (the black stripes around the
 scaled image), but the gavl converter doesn't (as a result you can see the
 previous image being the new scaled one).

 One of the two following should be done: (1) either blank before the
 conversion process and remove the blanking from mm (native converter); (2)
 add the blanking process to the gavl converter.
