Thank you David, what you describe looks indeed related to my problem,
since I've experimented with more switch combinations lately
(especially add and schedule). When going back to simpler version of
my script, the issue does disappear.

Hi,

There is currently a bug with metadata, caused by the transitions. It
appears even when you don't use transitions, in that case a trivial
transition is actually used. Every operator derived from switch (every
operator supporting transitions) is affected by that. I don't have
time for explaining in details what happens, but basically the child
of the switch believes it is accessed by two sources, the switch and
the transition, so it runs in caching mode, and some metadata is lost
-- in practice, everytime you switch from one branch of a switch to
another, you lose one metadata packet. This should be fixed soon,
during next week.

Do you think that your problem is related, or is it something else ?

By the way you made me notice that the "comment" field of metadata is
not sent to the icecast server. I will fix that right now.

Cheers.
