Stripping blanks requires decoding :)

Now, from my own experience, I don't advise you to try to do any "realtime" encoding / decoding on your VIA processor, not only because it will suck most of your CPU, but also because I noticed Lame tended to crash quite often on this little things. By quite often I mean up to several times a day. Don't ask me why, though :)

Thus, I wouldn't recommend running Liquidsoap -- or any encoder for that matter -- on VIA processors... I've had very bad times trying to do transcoding on my VIA-based Dedibox.
