Reading the post you mention, I think that the only major difference is in the
syntax for the "set": it has been moved to something more homogeneous with
respect with the other operators: set "value" = foo was changed to:
set("value",foo).

Sure !
My experience with packaging for various distributions and OSes has learnt me
that it is really important that the packager is actually using the distro.
So, we also should need a rpm guru user at some point..
But, still, we can of course provide support on how to use and tweak the build
system...
