Hello,

I am working on a general automation system for a small internet radio
station. We recently heard about Liquidsoap and absolutely love what it
has to offer. Until a month or so ago, the system was functioning
beautifully. However, the data center we used unexpectedly shut down,
and we had to restructure our operations around several independent
machines across the internet.

Unfortunately, this move also meant that we could no longer host our
content on the same server that was running Liquidsoap. Our files
(mostly recordings of live broadcasts that last from 2 to 4 hours a
piece) now reside on a cloud-based storage system, and users are able to
access the individual files with no problems. Despite altering the
timeout and length parameters in the playlist() function, I am unable to
find a way to get Liquidsoap to queue up any of these long files. The
results from the log indicate that it tried, but fails, to download each
file over the network. The resulting output is typically our fallback
audio interspersed with small musical selections that have also been
placed in the playlist.

I have tried streaming directly over HTTP and directly mounting the
cloud storage as a local directory. Any ideas on what to try next?

Best regards,
Steve
