The linking phase fails because it doesn't find this file, which is
supposed to belong to the camlimages library. I installed it here, and
it turns out that the library layout has changed, which is the
problem. (It's our fault: for some technical reason we did not use the
main .cmxa but included almost all others manually, and those
sub-libraries may not have been meant to be distributed.)

In any case, you can fix the problem by disabling camlimages, you
probably don't need it. The radical way to disable it is to uninstall
the library. It seems to be the only option since the ./configure
--disable-camlimages seems to be broken here... I'll fix it on the
SVN. (You can also delete the part of our configure.ac that detects
camlimages if you feel confident.)
