I second what Brandon just wrote ! :-)

Liquidsoap can be good to perform a basic scheduling, like having a classic 
playlist and rotate this with a jingle every 3 songs.

However, for any advanced scheduling, we recommend to use an external script. 
This also has the advantage to let you use your favorite language, since we 
realize that not all our users are used to functional programming like the 
liquidsoap language is.. ;-)

There were several projects around liquidsoap for scheduling. On of them is in 
our SVN, named washtub and is maintained by Chris Everest.


I have added Chris in the CC (sorry Chris if you also receive the ML mails..), 
you may want to ask him more about washtub..
