Hi, I wanted to test the speech synthesis features (say_metadata) but for some reason it's not working.
This is what I get in the log: 2010/04/26 22:54:37 [protocols.say:3] Synthetizing "It was Robin Guthrie, Misty." to "/tmp/say496bfd.wav" 2010/04/26 22:54:37 [protocols.say:3] Failed to synthetize speech: synthesis script returned an error! And this is what I get when I do a "trace 2" on the server: [2010/04/26 22:54:37] Pushed ["say:It was Robin Guthrie, Misty.";...]. [2010/04/26 22:54:37] Entering the primary queue. [2010/04/26 22:54:37] Resolving "say:It was Robin Guthrie, Misty." (timeout 20s)... [2010/04/26 22:54:37] Speech synthesis failed! [2010/04/26 22:54:37] Every possibility failed! [2010/04/26 22:54:37] Request finished. I'm using Liquidsoap 0.9.2 running on Ubuntu Karmic with the standard Festival package installed (1.96~beta-9ubuntu1). Festival works fine in interactive mode, meaning (SayText TEXT) produces audible speech.
