I've been looking at it more, and I can't prove the difference comes from the two revisions. I don't know what it was. I ran it in under daemontools sometimes, and by init.d (daemon mode) others, and different versions of different builds. It could have been anything -- even the different encodings of the songs that happened to be playing that day. Who knows.
Either way, liquidsoap is awesome. I am actually looking into learning OCaml for fun.
