There should be all you need in output.file (output.file.FORMAT on
0.9.x). You have the reopen_when parameter (e.g. reopen_when={0m} for
re-opening the file on top of each hour) and you can use a
time-sensitive filename:
<quote the doc>
* (unlabeled) : string (default None)
Filename where to output the stream. Some strftime conversion
specifiers are available: <code>%SMHdmY</code>. You can also use
<code>$(..)</code> interpolation notation for metadata.
