Thanks for the heads up ! I wonder now if it could be the case that alsa input only works for a limited time, for instance if there's a possible overflow somewhere.. Do you know if the crash happens after the same amount of running time ? I am gonna run a test on my computer with an alsa input to see if this is the case, but my server is 64-bit, so it might not be relevant. What you can do perhaps is start this: liquidsoap 'output.dummy(fallible=true,input.alsa())' in a screen and see if it crashes after a fixed amount of time...
