Yes, I've had your other mail in my TODO pile. I think you simply do not have
lame installed..

By the way, you probably would prefer to use output.icecast.mp3, which uses
the built-in mp3 encoder. I think you are usiing gentoo, so I am not sure
about the packaging status of liquidsoap there. Most likely, you need to:
* install libmp3lame
* compile liquidsoap from sources
So, maybe, start with installing the lame binary. Then, if output.icecast.lame
is not ok for your needs, then move on and build liquidsoap from source with
the internal mp3 encoder enabled..
