The Nth transition is used when switching to the Nth source. We should
clarify this in the doc.

In any case, as a reminder: it usually makes more sense than using
transition N when switching from source N -- because your transition
often includes a jingle saying "and now for some stuff from source N".

A too long list probably goes unnoticed (the extra items are dropped)
and a too short one is padded with fun(x,y)->y which is the
no-transition transition.
