Yes, this is a known issue. Long story short: ocaml-faad was using a debian-
specific header/library.

The latest SVN code not longer rely on this library so it should compile fine. 
The binding in SVN may work with an older liquidsoap. However, you may as well 
give a try to liquidsoap's SVN code if you're there. It should be pretty 
stable..
