I believe the problems comes from your buffering parameters. Let me explain how it works: * Upon connecting, liquidsoap pre-buffers an initial amount of data before declaring the source avaliable. * Once pre-buffering is done, the source becomes available and streaming can start. Meanwhile, the source keeps on receiving new data. * If the buffer overrun (too many data received) then old data are dropped. pre-buffering is gouverned by the "buffer" parameter (yes name is confusing but description is clear: "Duration of the pre-buffered data."). Maximun buffer size is gouverned by the "max" parameter. What happens here is that buffer is 19 sec and max 20 sec. Thus, pre-buffering is too closed to maximun buffer, which leads to buffer overrun.. You should try to, either: * Raise max * Decrease buffer As a side note, I would like to remark that the encoding format is relevant for setting those values. Icecast usually sends an initial burst of *encoded* data (usually about 64K). If format is AAC+ or ogg/flac, the corresponding amount of *decoded* data will be very different. Thus, you may need a greater buffer and max for AAC+ because 64K of data encoded using AAC+ at, say, 32kbits, represents a fairly long chunk of decoded data. However, 64K of encoded flac data represent a much shorter duration..
