Hi, The rid limitation has been removed in SVN -- and also 1.0 beta, I believe.
It makes things a little more flexible, and it's especially nice to avoid runtime max_rid errors. But it may also remove startup errors that do notify of a real problem. Samuel's point is very true: if your script loads tons of requests at startup, it could be consuming lots of resources. It doesn't have to, but you need to be careful: a request is just a few strings when it's created, but as soon as it is "prepared" it means that a file has been downloaded (if needed) and checked.
