Hi, Using blank() to produce silence is not a good idea. It doesn't play well with compression (this is actually a common question: http://savonet.sourceforge.net/doc-svn/faq.html). The main alternative is to record imperfect silence, potentially using liquidsoap's synthesis operators (e.g. sine) itself and use the resulting file as a filler.
