Hi Andre, As you point out correctly, this very long transition is not appropriate at all times. Removing the blank can make sense. Instead of setting it to 0 you could simply replace the sequence with the inner fade.initial.
But really the only way to craft your transitions is to experiment: you'd be much more productive with a local installation of liquidsoap to play with, instead of asking questions here and testing on your server.
