I'll be interested to hear more about this. Also, I have to admin that daily packages are broken again... > However, we have been unable to find debian packets for libfaad-ocaml, > libfaad-ocaml-dev, and ocaml-lame... which are precisely what would be > useful to have something more complete than what can be found on the > officials debian repositories. Yes, we've had troubles concerning this until recently. ocaml-faad package is now waiting in debian's NEW queue for inclusion into debian unstable. In the mean time you can get a copy of the package's sources there: http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-ocaml-maint/packages/ocaml-faad.git;a=summary Ocaml-lame debian package does not exist because they cannot be included in Debian (yet?). > We would like to avoid compiling and installing from pure sources, since > this is way dirtier. > > So, is there a way to get hold of these anywhere ? Ocaml-faad package can be compiled from the package's file above. Concerning ocaml-lame, you may install from source or create your own package (we would be pleased to have a copy of the files..)..
