Actually I do not. While I was prospecting for xml playlist formats, I also came across the SMIL one which, if I remember well, is mostly designed for advanced media muxing and has a lot of details that are impractical for simple scheduling purposes. Working with an open mind, I believe that maybe it could be possible to define a new format specific for scheduling purposes. As I see it the format could be simple and have the following information: * URI/location of the media * Metadata associated with the media * cue_in/cue_out point * Information defining transitions (possibly of free format, to be interpreted by the player) These are just ideas but I think it would not be too hard and possibly beneficial to a broader audience to have such format. Finally, as a personal taste, I would avoid using xml and use maybe json or YAML..
