There was already a mess with -lBPM and the different names for the pkg-config file. Lately, the gcc/g++ maintainers also decided to tighten up the dependencies for c++, which forces ocaml users now to pass -lstdc++ at link-time.. (and it seems that it is not even an acceptable thing to do..) > We have tried in the past to have a statically linked version of liquidsoap > but this is really not easy because of OCaml. Furthermore, I remember trying to force static linking and it was very ad-hoc and did not work with many external modules. My advice in this case is to ship the binary with the dynamic libraries in its main folder and use LD_LIBRARY_PATH to point LD to this folder. Romain > ++ > > Sam. > > > 2011/4/29 Francesco P.
