Hi all!

This is my pleasure to announce the first "official" native build for
windows OS of liquidsoap!

The build is available through our sourceforce download page, under
the liquidsoap/1.0.0-beta2 folder:
  https://sourceforge.net/projects/savonet/files/liquidsoap/1.0.0-beta2/

This a native build for windows OSes which should run without any
external dependencies, such as cygwin and the like. However, this also
comes with some restrictions because not all Unix functionalities can
be ported to native windows binaries.

Some of the limitations, a description of the differences between
native and cygwin's build and a sketch of how to cross-build a windows
liquidsoap using a Debian host are described in this page:
  http://savonet.sourceforge.net/windows.html

Concerning the stability and bugs, we have done a significant work
debugging issues in the windows port, thanks to valuable feedback from
windows users. However, we are still aware of at least one issue
concerning playlist files not being properly read.

Overall, the windows port *should* be suitable for consumption, so
plase go ahead, download it, use it and report to us any success or
issue you have using it!

A good day to y'all!
Romain
