I guess this problem could in principle occur with an input.http(). If
there is a network lag, the buffer empties and the source becomes
unavailable. Fallbacks and such should play their role at this point
so that outputs keep running smooth. When the input attempts to
reconnect, there shouldn't much disturbance either because it is in a
separate thread, but I wouldn't be surprised that this does not go
totally unnoticed.

As Romain said, we need more details: Does the audio stop (output
disconnects) or is it just silence (eg. mksafe plays its role)? Can
you give us a simple way to reproduce the problem?
