___1___ Do we need this?
I think yes.We need it.
A forum also would be nice, and since you savonet guys are the ones with
most knowledge the burden would be on your shoulders, but to light it up a
little and maybe help both the online doc and the growing of the community
we could try to make a wiki or something like that and then get the contents
of the wiki and write it into a book.
___2___ Which contents?
Yes we should include basic setup but nothing deep i think it is very
important to present the basics and at least "what to google":
-What is OCaml
-What is the basic of the streaming logic?
-Why i need icecast/shoutcast?
Would be nice to see these topics just covering the whys, whats and where to
find more info.
I guess the language itself should get a big chunk of the book.Understanding
the sources and etc is very important and i think that this part should have
a lot of details and examples.
I think that it should have a big section with introduction to liquidsoap
and a advanced section (Maybe smaller, maybe the online docs should cover
this.Advanced stuff are stuffs that we google when we need it and if we
need it)
___3___ Where should we publish it?
Have no idea but why not just "print" an eBook? At least for know
___4___ What source format?
I think the wiki like format would be the best choice.
Also i think that "whatever most of the world are using" is a good choice,
liquidsoap already have his obscure side (Like OCaml that a few people heard
about and it's so different that may scary new users).
