I am surprised that you do not get it without the conservative arg.
Your error is about icecast connection, which happens in a different
thread than request preparation.. The only possibility could be that
downloading takes too long but still..

Anyway, liquidsoap should definitely not fail as you describe. There
are two options for now:
 * Either you can live with the current behaviour and stick with 0.9.3
 * You have time to test a recent hg or 1.0.0 beta3

The problem with your version is that we are now preparing a new
stable release and many things have changed, including possibly a fix
for your issue. Thus, it would be better to start debugging with a
recent version..
