Hi everyone.

You might remember a posting from me a couple of months ago regarding
the problems that I was having with getting Liquidsoap to run files
from a directory. I managed to fix those, but am now faced with a
bigger problem.

Since version 1.X has now been released, I'm having problems with
installing a fresh copy. I know that their are official Ubuntu
packages available, but since the new plugin architecture has been
introduced, I don't understand how they're enabled. After I've
installed, and written a sample script, I'm told by Liquidsoap that
the Lame plugin isn't available. However, when I attempt to install
it, I'm told by Apt that it's the latest version.

How would you suggest installing a fresh copy? I'm guessing that the
Medibuntu repos are no longer required?

Thanks.

Elliott.
