Hi all! The flows service continues to move on!
Some of you may have noticed that there is now a @SavonetFlows twitter account, which publishes some of the song submitted in the system: http://twitter.com/SavonetFlows Meanwhile, the code has been clean-up a lot and the API for new metadata notification has been changed a little bit. We now use more robust tokens to identify radios and notification message's fields have been renamed. Updated documentation can be found there: http://liquidsoap.fm/flows-user.html In the near future, we would like to propose a command-line interface to administrate your radio, in particular with the possibility to edit it's name and to subscribe to twitter notifications on an account of your choice. The following is is an important information for all flows users: ============================================= In order for this to happen, you will need to setup a proper user and password for your radio(s). The register_flow operator present in liquidsoap 1.0.0 supports two parameters for this: user and password. As these parameters were not mentioned in the original documentation (there were meant to be used later on), all radios currently submitting are using the default user, which is: user="default" and password="default". Obviously, we cannot allow any kind of administration to go live until you guys have all switched to a different user. Therefore, you are all advised to update your flows script to add a "user" and "password" field to it. Just adding those two fields without any other change should be fine. Of course, when the administration interface will go live, "default" user will not be able to log-in... Have a great week y'all!
