Roger is indeed right, recompiling the package is totally possible. However, you may want to have a look at Nicolas' great PPA packages, recompiled by and for radio Girol: https://launchpad.net/~giroll/+archive/radio-giroll They cover a lot of versions of ubuntu so it is very likely that you'll find yours there. My only remark would be to avoid oneirc b/c there is a pretty nasty compilation bug in this release which prevents liquidsoap's packages from being correctly built (unless Nicolas found a way to fix his package..?)
