Hi,
Thank you for detailed reply. I gave first priority to get the liquidsoap
running as a service (so that I can keep my computer down at night ;) ).
I removed following directories
> /usr/local/lib/liquidsoap
> /usr/local/etc/logrotate.d/liquidsoap
> /usr/local/etc/liquidsoap
> /usr/local/bin/liquidsoap
and as a normal user I download the source to home.
$ hg clone http://savonet.hg.sourceforge.net:8000/hgroot/savonet/savonet
$cd savonet
$./bootstrap $
$.*./configure --sysconfdir=/etc*
$make
As root
# make install
After installation I tested with following and works fine.
*liquidsoap 'output.icecast(%mp3, password="XXX", mount="radio.", sine())'*
But still I can't run liquidsoap as a service. Commands I tried are,
# service liqudsoap start
liqudsoap: unrecognized service
#/etc/init.d/liquidsoap start
-bash: /etc/init.d/liquidsoap: No such file or directory.
Also liquidsoap script is not available inside init.d,
These are the directories I have now.
/etc/logrotate.d/liquidsoap
/etc/liquidsoap
/usr/local/lib/liquidsoap
/usr/local/bin/liquidsoap
What should I do now?
I was running beta script for about one year without any problem.
I appreciate you support and time.
