When you compile from our -full tarball, ocaml-dtools and all the
modules provided by us are compiled as well, which is why you do not
compile directly from the liquidsoap directory but from the top-level
one, which also builds those modules and links them into liquidsoap.

Coming back to your questions, the start-up script, as you mentioned
they are not supported by your os (centos).

Speaking of centos, there seems to be some RPM for fedora, provided by
Chris Everest (which also maintains washtub, a liquidsoap
controler[1]) there:

Maybe you could use them or recompile them?
