I was wondering how smooth_add deals with metdata.
i have this construct for my full hour news:
radio = smooth_add(delay=0.5,p=0,0,
normal=radio,special=switch([({00m00s},news)]))
How can i set this to show the metadata of the news-file instead of the
radio-stream?
As i unterstand switches, metadata is always taken from the first active
source found.
(So at 00m00s "news" should be the active source?)
I've tried this:
radio=fallback(transitions=[xfade,xfade],[switch([({00m00s},news)]),radio])
(of course, "xfade" is defined in the script)
This gives me the Metadata of the News, but with this i cannot have a
playing backgroud of source radio.
At least i didn't find a way to do this.
