I can't think of a decent explanation for this... However, here is how to
play a track at the begining:
source = .......
first = once(single("first_track.mp3"))
source = fallback([first, source])
output.icecast.lame(..., source)
Notice that if you just want blank, you can simply use
first = once(blank(duration=5.))
However, blank tends to bring problems since it's too easy to compress, so
I would use something like
first = once(sine(duration=5.))
