The way I've got it USE flags determine which PACKAGES are installed before liquidsoap and whether liquidsoap looks for them when it builds. Each PACKAGE is a seperate 'package' since they have their own version numbers. Bumping and and adding new packages is easy since the build steps are all very similar.
The problem I have now is I get errors running scripts. The default
radio.liq gives me this error:
"variable output.icecast.vorbis used here
has not been previously defined."
I get the same scope problems with other objects, but I am able to
use out and and single just fine. If I run the following it plays out
just fine through pulseaudio:
#!/usr/bin/liquidsoap
out(single("/tmp/file.ogg"))
The link below is to my build log, and I don't see any errors other than
a warning about threads. Strace doesn't show anything obvious either.
