for my scripts to work, i assume that request.on_air
delivers the actually playing element as the first in the list
but that doesn't seem to be the case sometimes, e.g. if i have more
than one requests in the queue. not exactly sure, have to look further.

is there a reliable way to find out which source is playing NOW, over 
telnet?
