if they do not then i have something else wrong. i will post my config
later. but when using ls to transcode an aac+ stream in to an mp3
, the player dropped the stream 2-3 times over a 3 hours. not good for
sports live. an mp3 encoder direct to ice did not do that. aac to ls to ice
drops.
trying to use ls to save 4g verzion bandwidth. 64k aac+ is better than 192k
mp3 on cost.
my current station stream is 64k aac+ to ls at stream server. transcode to
ice 4 streams, 2 mp3, and 2 aac+. the player stops at least once every
hour sometimes more. cutting ls out stops the issue.
listeners not happy getting dropped in a game. need to figure out why this
happens. do not want to go back to 3 stream out to server.
i have read everything i can find about the encoders. is there any setting
that control disconnects of out streams on loss of source? like icecast
has.
no issue with ls starting after source drop.
guess i need to look at logs deeper.
