Sorry for that, i was supposed to know or at least check it myself.
I'm trying to do what you said, but it still doesn't seem to work:
ocaml-dssi]$ ./configure --with-ladspa-dir=../ocaml-ladspa/src
configuring ocaml-dssi 0.1.1
...
checking dssi.h usability... yes
checking dssi.h presence... yes
checking for dssi.h... yes
checking for ocaml_ladspa.h... no

In fact, the header should be in that ocaml-ladspa dir, but it isn't 
found. Same error when i copy ocaml_ladspa.h to the dssi/src dir.
