I've just upgraded to 1.1.0 and as part of a silence detector I use
"strip_blank(length=15.,input)", however the latest version doesn't seem to
support length parameter?
What's the now preferred method of detecting blank audio above a certain time
threshold?

You might want to try eat_blank(). There is a max_blank= parameter.
